His grandchildren are Carmen and Caron Soh.
I guess those are the right spellings! :)
I am kinda puzzled when I know that the little boy's name is "Karen".
I spell it Caron so that it sounds more boyish. ^^
Carmen is learning both violin and piano. So I play a piece for her.
As for Caron, haha.. This boy is just too cute!
He learns piano and I ask him to play on my grand piano.
He walks straight to it and starts playing.
C major octaves, repeating.
And then the melody runs slowly, with some thrills decorating.
At first I thought he is playing pieces he memorised, and then his mum says,
"Caron likes to play whatever he wants and he hates to follow the scores."
I stare, and yea, now I realise he is playing something not very regular but mostly in the right coordinations.
He plays non-stop until Carmen yells, "Stop!!!"
Then he ends the piece with a gigantic chord. "Bang!"
XDDD We laugh until our bellies burst.
He's really funny!
They stay around half an hour and then they went to have their dinner.
Perhaps they want me to put more time on SPM biology paper tomorrow. Haha.
Carmen's and Caron's parents are educated in Japan.
Their mum knows Nami's mum!
I listen to her talking to Nami's mum (Japanese) on the phone in Japanese.
So cool man! ^^
Gonna take up Japanese in the future.
I take some pictures with them using my camera's automatic shoot feature, so I can get everyone in without needing to "sacrifice" anyone to be the photographer!
It looks like I done a good job at that!
Nice visit. They seldom drop by Kemaman, so it's vry vry vry rare. ^^
Their last visit was about 5 years ago?
Haha. Hope to see them again soon!
