Photoshoot. (3rd)

The 3rd costume! =) I totally love this hairstyle! Btw it’s not a wig, it’s my own hair! LOL!!

And super like the hair adornment too! Feels very bridal right?

The theme is something like a girl in a fairyland.

Photoshoot (1st)

Just to share some pics of my photoshoot 2 days ago. =)

Went for a photoshoot with Miki! It was such a great experience! =D

All the pictures are non-edited! Quite surprising right? I was like, “Wow, the non-edited version’s already sooo nice!”

Both of us got to pick 15 photos we liked best each to be edited by the photo studio, and we could only get them after a month. Haiya.. so long. T.T

Anyway I’m totally happy with the non-edited version already! So here’s some pics for the first traditional Chinese costume!

Thoughts.

Sometimes I wonder why I blog.

My blog is like my own little room, my favourite one, where I can adorn it the way I want, refurnishing it from time to time.

At times I regard it as a little plant of mine, I'll need to water it and keep it alive, ensuring that it gets enough sunlight and nourishment to grow.

And most of the time, it'll just be my own private space to write. Writing has always been my passion. It is the best way to express myself coz I'm not exactly good when it comes to speech, I need some time to figure out the right thing to say.

When I feel down, I want to write it all out here, but somehow I stop myself. Coz I know nobody will ever understand the feelings except myself. For them, these will just be words, and they cannot feel the deep pain inflicted. So why bother?
That's why I never write anything private here.

So back to the question, why do I blog?
Out of boredom? To share pictures? To share about my daily life? Not like there're a lot of ppl interested it that.

Maybe it's time for me to quit blogging. ;)

Momotaro!

A one-day belated post. Yurina reached Shanghai a day ago! =))))) And she got us souvenirs wheyyyy!

Each of us got a packet of Momotaro’s mochi! =DDDDD

DSC06721

The super cute package! =DDD

DSC06728

Just in case you dunno who’s Momotaro! There is actually a Japanese folklore about it. To keep you guys interested, I even found some pics to go with my story! =DDD I’m going to keep the story really simple coz I’m pretty tired right now. XD

Once upon a time, there was an old woman washing the clothes by the river. Suddenly she saw a large peach flowing down the river. She took the peach home and decided to eat it with her husband when they discovered a kid inside the peach!

1

So the kid was named Momotaro. (Momo in Japanese = Peach) Years later, Momotarō left his parents to fight a band of marauding oni (demons or ogres) on a distant island. En route, Momotarō met and befriended a talking dog, monkey, and pheasant, who agreed to help him in his quest.

3

They sailed together to fight the oni!

4

At the island, Momotarō and his animal friends penetrated the demons' fort and beat the band of demons into surrendering.

5

Momotarō and his new friends returned home with the demons' plundered treasure and the demon chief as a captive. Momotarō and his family lived comfortably from then on.

6

Okay so the story ended! Now let’s get back to the mochi again! =))) There are 6 different characters in the package! I don’t really recognise the face with blue and yellow colour though. You guys try to guess the rest! XDDD

DSC06729

This is the bad guy! XDD DEMON!

DSC06738

DSC06751

The good guys! Pheasant, dog, Momotaro and Monkey! (except the blue and yellow face thingy I don’t really know what’s that.)

DSC06754

Inside is a really yummy Mochi! =DDDDD Miki told me that mochi is the food where Momotaro fed his animal friends so they will have the energy to fight the demons! LOL! I wonder if that’s true! XDDD

Haha.. A random selfsnap with miki at the back! XD

TOTALLY EXHAUSTED. X.X NIGHT!!

Japanese Cooking Game! =)

I tried out both the “souvenirs” Miki got for me this afternoon!

The first one is the weird looking one. Actually there’s only a piece of chewing gum inside, which is the white square piece thingy in transparent plastic on the left. However the nice thing is there are some magnets as gifts too! It is popular in Japan coz ppl wanna collect all the magnets! LOL!

DSC06646

I put the magnets on the water heater outside! LOL. Both Miki and I agreed that the magnets are NOT cute at all. =.= Dunno why ppl like it so much. Looks so peculiar right? XDD Not exactly my cup of tea.

DSC06647

And then I tried out the cooking game! YAY! =)) Miki said only kids play with it in Japan. =.= Anyway it’s a cooking game where you can actually eat the end-results!!

So here goes!

DSC06654

The ingredients inside!

DSC06660

First step, cut the waffles using the spoon provided. You can cut it in any size you like.

DSC06661-vert

Then cut out the triangular shape from the plastic container. Put in the packets of cream powder on either side of the container. Fill the triangular thingy with water and mix the water with the powder. Stir until it becomes creamy!

DSC06665-tile

Then put the cream (2 colours) into this plastic thingy! You probably know how to the rest. XD

DSC06688-tile

Cream pie? XD

DSC06695

Going on next! Cream waffle sandwich! LOL!

DSC06697-vert

And Ice Cream!!! =)))))

DSC06707-horz

The end results! I ate them with Miki and the most astonishing thing was it actually tasted awesome! Not those chapalang taste you know, it was soooo good we were surprised! =)) Well, Japanese snacks is always of great quality! ^^
