Mr Lewis Kaplan. :)

My 3rd day of translating! Actually shouldn't be me who translate today, but the translator didn't show up yet so Mr Lewis asked me to help. :) I was honoured. ^_^

At first I wasn't nervous, but more and more ppl came in afterwards, and omg my teacher came as well! And my teacher's teacher, and other professors!!! I was like, "God save me."
Lol... I did had some problems translating the lexicons of music from English to Chinese. I didn't know what was harpsichord and Aria in Chinese. Luckily all the professors and my teacher were really helpful! :DDD They immediately aided me when I asked them about it. Thank you!

It was really really fun translating today. I didn't expect it to be fun, coz there were so many respectable figures there, and it should be really serious. There were twice that I made mistakes. LOL.
When Mr Lewis talked about Shakespears's Hamlet.
I translated it into “哈姆勒”, and there was a roar of laughter! XDDD PAISEHHHH.
And the professors were like chiming simultaneously, "是哈姆雷特!”

LOLLLLLL. And another one... I mistranslated Austria into “澳大利亚”(Australia). It should be “奥地利”in Chinese.
Ahahaha.. Omg I need to read more Chinese books to get a better idea of all these names and stuff. XDD

The rest was pretty smooth and I was glad to help! ^^

Mr Lewis gave me a VCD of his performance and lecture on Chaconne as a special present for translating for him! I was soooo sooo sooo happy!!! ^^
A picture before taking pics with Mr Lewis!
