Fairytale.

Yes, the place I live now is not those extravagant type, just a small neighbourhood with lots of small streets and clothes hanging outside the balcony, but still, I feel as if I'm living in the fairytale. :)

Every morning I wake up, all sorts of music greet me in the ear. There are piano, Yang Qing, violin, cello and flute, mixing the melodies together. Not demanding, and not loud, just sweet enough to make me smile! :)))

I especially like the pianist who lives in another block. I never seen him/her in person, but he/she practises from day to night, and with good skill too. :D I believe he/she is an extremely patient person, coz I heard him/her slow practises every little passage until he/she can play it smoothly.

Its melody is particularly rejoicing as the rays of sunlight shine down to the earth. Accompany by the clear luxurious tune of the piano, the morning will seem so much more hopeful and exuberating. ^^

I love Shanghai very much. And I love the place I live! ^^

Pelting.

My aunt smsed me yesterday and told me to take care and wear thicker tomorrow. She said it would be really cold today.

And yeah, she was right. It was super duper cold today. I guess it's because Autumn is around the corner. And there were autumn leaves everywhere on the road. Anyway, I think it should be 2 or 3 weeks more until the REAL arrival of Autumn. The trees still haven't truly shed their leaves yet.

It rained all day today. T.T And this was what happened when it rained. There was a sea of umbrellas right in front of our school's canteen. haha....

Me feeling uber cold in the practice room. The air-cond cannot be adjusted, only ON or OFF. Lol...

It's going to be a great sleeping night! ^^

Dance Class! ^^

Haha.. the second day in gym.
I'm getting better at things and we joined the Exotic Dance class.
It's the very sexy type of dance and it's fun to learn! ^^ Have to train ourselves to move our belly and body in the right way. Hehe.. And then I exercised on the machine for 30 minutes. So very tiring. XDD

Btw, here's our African friend, Samir. He lives in Utopia. We brought him to the Fusion Restaurant and let him try out the Malaysian food.

Hmm... Samir didn't really like our food. sobsob.. lol... And he was so shocked when he knew we were eating frogs, which we ordered that day. He was like nonono, don't even think I'll eat it. Finally we managed to talk him into eating a small piece of it. He said it tasted like chicken but he didn't take anoter piece again. Haha... He just stared at us eating the frogs. XD

Credits to Samir for taking this pic for us. Us with the frog. XD

Haiyoyo.. They are so stingy, just give us so little frogs. zzzz... It's not cheap le. :(

After that, we went to Haagen-Dazs! :) I ate Summer berries flavour, Jiun Hui had Strawberry flavour and Samir had banana flavour. He hated his banana ice cream coz he said it was too sweet. It was funny coz he would start to shake a little everything he ate something sweet. XDD He just couldn't stand it. ^^

Pictures!

Lol.. That's all for the day!

Fun And Surprises. ♥

We heard about the gym from Marie Louise (Majse for short). There are 3 centers in Shanghai and it’s RMB900 for half a year. Jiun Hui is really interested in that, after all, she’s a sports girl. Lol. Besides, there’s a risk of getting fatter playing our instruments everyday sitting and eating without doing any exercises, and we won’t be strong and healthy enough.

Anyway, I decided to ask for my mum’s permission first. She was super nice to let me register for the gym. Right in the afternoon, Jiun Hui and I went to the gym with an American gorgeous girl, Jessica and our Thailand friend, Fang Fang. ^^

We were totally in love with the gym. It was a renowned place, obviously. So many people flocked there and we didn’t need to worry about it coz the equipments there were simply A LOT and all well-maintained! :D There were a lot of new interesting exercising equipments that we had never tried before, so I tried everything out. It was really fun and at the same time, burning our calories away.

I felt all refreshed and stronger after the almost-an-hour exercises and we both went into the washroom. There were sauna, shower room and lots of locker around. Hairdryers were supplied as well. :)

Hmmm… and there were lots of naked women inside. XD I was still not used to the scene so I just look straight ahead. Haha… Maybe I’ll get used to that soon. I love the shower room too! Great lighting, warm shower and shampoo provided. Nothing much to worry about! :D

One thing I love most about the gym is it provides dancing classes! There are yoga classes, belly dance classes, aerobics classes, exotic dance classes, Latin, Jazz and so on. I would definitely want to try belly dance, aerobics and exotic dance. LOL. They are all totally free, included in the RMB900. ^^

After the gym-ing, Jessica went back earlier. Jiun Hui and I followed Fang Fang to take the LRT and reached the Parkson near our hostel. Someone told us that there was a Malaysian restaurant named Fusion Restaurant on the very top floor! So we immediately went there and tried it out. Huhu~~~ See the poster depicting the arrival of Hari Raya. We felt like we were at home when we tasted Curry Chicken, Penang Laksa and Prawn Noodle. XDDD It was totally full house. I guess Malaysian food is really celebrated in China. Haha… Of course! Malaysian food is JUST DELICIOUS.

Fang Fang and his mesmerized face. Haha… He never taste Malaysian food before, our food is not very similar with Thailand’s. XDD He said.

Prawn Noodle. :)

Penang Laksa.

The Curry Chicken which is much more delicious than its look. XD

Lol... TASTY~~~~

Tired and contented me.

Wheee~~~ I miss you, Malaysian food!

Jiun Hui asked me to crop this pic coz she didn't like how she looked in it. Haih...

So here's the poster! XDDDD See? Got Hari Raya~

Owh. And just to show the sport shoes I bought today. Adidas white shoe. :) Love it!

I'm MY REAL SELF!

GOD. I'M DYING.

I'M SO TRULY DYING....

I'M SOOOOO TRULY DYING OF HAPPINESS RIGHT NOW!

And I'm Wen Xi, not anyone else. I GOT MY BLOGGING HAVEN BACK! :DDDDDD

Thanks Fang Fang [He's from Thailand] for the software! XDDD Now I can access all the sites just like before including Facebook!!!! XDDDDDDDDDD

Btw, Jiun Hui, me, Fang Fang and Marie [from Denmark] are happily onlining in Citta Cafe! ^^
We listened to Antje Waithass's concert just now and she's really amazing. She's truly a great violinist, pulling out sweet and sometimes vigorous melodies. Her Bach is really perfect. T.T

And today Ying Zhe, the new Chinese friend I known from the Piano Department showed the English teacher how to play on the piano. You see, our beloved English Teacher is learning piano too, and she's desperate to find someone to coach her practising. Ying Zhe came right to her rescue. So I stood beside and watched too.

Omg, he's truly amazing. I mean he's sight reading ok? And the pieces weren't easy, he played all with ease, and most importantly with his own interpretation and feelings. No mistake. And when the teacher asked him whether it's hard, he said, "Nope, it's simple actually." I was like staring at him. Geez. XD

I scanned through his piano book, he had played all and gosh, all of them are like FT level. MAN. :DDDDD And he's my age.

Hmm... Didn't take any pics yet. Will update more since I can access blogger now! :)))) Miss all of you! MUACKS~

Jiang's Lousy Webcam.

Lol.. Finally webcam with Jiang today. :DDD HAiyaaaa.. his webcam so lousy! XDDDD
Anyway nice to see him again after so long! XDDD

Wahahahaaaaaa.... Zi Ying don't be jealous! Muahahaha~~~

I'm a Law-abiding Citizen. ^^

Hi ppl! :DDDD Here am I! Today's the meeting of all the new overseas students. At first I thought it'll going to be those nice buffet type, but got pretty disappointed when we were led into a big room with a big meeting table inside. Haha.. It was exactly a meeting room for those VIPs. We were given a banana and an orange each. I was like, "Eh? What's that?" Hahaa... Jiun Hui and I were asked to distribute the fruits. XDDD I was in charge of the bananas! Hahahaa... :D

There're altogether almost 30 new overseas student this year. There were ppl from Mongolia, Malaysia of course, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Africa, Armenia, Denmark, Thailand and Indonesia. All of us were required to introduce ourselves, preferably in Chinese. So it wasn't a big problem for me and Jiun Hui. The rest of them tried hard to speak Chinese and they were really cute when they did so! ^^
So here's one of them, Mariko from Japan!

I didn't manage to take pictures with them because soon 2 head officers from the Pu Dong Police Station came. They told us about the laws in China and what we should take care of especially our documents like passports and visas. It was a pretty boring session and lots of people dozed off. XDDDD Coz the officers spoke in Chinese and one of the teachers in the conservatory acted as the translator. Geezzz... Super duper boring. XD
Some of us were asked to stay there to fix our visa problems and the rest left. So Jiun Hui and I were pretty upset for we didn't have the chance to take pics with the others. So we decided to take pics around the school area. Here were some of my pics! ^^

As for these 2 pics, just wanna show you my school's canteen! Nice right? XDDD The food is pretty good.

And the other two are taken in my school area too! Nice??

We took some pics nearby my hostel too! My neighbourhood is pretty safe and peaceful. And there's a small playground there. We took pictures! ^^

Hope you guys like dis post! Night~

Yay! My bathroom's heater is finally fixed! XDDD It feels awkward having hot shower after 2 weeks of cold shower. :DDD
I didn't join them complaining today since I wasn't feeling quite well in the morning. Period. Hehe.. So I woke up late.
Anyway, I played badminton with my new friends today at the badminton court! :DD It was nice in there! And it was FUN!

BTW I bought a nice handmade Strawberry bracelet today at a small shop right outside my school. The shop sells things from Thailand. Haha.. I think it's very special so I bought it! ^^

^^ Tomorrow there'll be a gathering of all those new overseas students, like a lunch or something. :) I'll take pics!!!! So stay tuned!

Night ppl~

White Top

Just want to show the top I bought. Haha...
Owh yea, tomorrow all the overseas students will complain about the hostel management, including me and Jiun Hui. Haha... We are not the leader of course.
Anyway, we do agree that it's pretty expensive and my heater is still not fixed, and the phone line as well as internet are still under repair. The others are like, why we have to pay so much for all these lousy services? Hmm... Let's see how it goes tomorrow.
Good night ppl! ^^ Have fun!

Seeking Food

Citta Cafe has nice lightings and peaceful ambiance, but errr.. I don't like its food. :(((
I tried the spaghetti here and was like... too expensive yet not tasty at all. X.X
Anyway, we did found something nice in the cafe after all.. Hehe... It's the FRUIT DELIGHT!!!!

It's Vanilla Ice Cream with some Strawberry Jam at the bottom and lots of different varieties of fruits scattered on the top! :DDDDD Jiun Hui love it totally, me too, but we can't order it everytime, coz it's pretty expensive too. XDDD
Btw, here's me and Jiun Hui!

We'll try to find more tasty food and post it here!!!

Weekend Outing

Jiun Hui and I got to People’s Square around 1pm, just half an hour more to go to meet up with my relatives, and we hadn’t get our lunch yet. So we quickly went to Raffle’s City Mall and ate Ah Chong Mian Xian. ^^ It was really delicious. People’s Square was so very crowded that you would think you were living in an aquarium full of fishes and not having a single place to swim about.

We got to Shanghai Grand Theatre and met my uncle and my aunt. ^^ My uncle was a professional photographer, so he took pictures of us. XDDD It was a great feeling. I mean like, wow, got a photo-taking session FOC, and a professional photographer somemore. XDDD He promised to email us the pics once his son got home. Should be around October something. Anyway, here're some of the pics I took with my own camera, credits to Jiun Hui. ^^

Btw, the musical we watched that day was a Korean one, the name of the musical was ‘Another Sun’. Hmmm…. It was pretty entertaining though didn’t impress us much. Lol.

Our next stop was Raffle’s City Mall again. For our dinner, we chose Ajisen Ramen. ^^ It was really popular, when we got there we needed to queue up to wait for our turn. We concluded that it was even better than the Ah Chong Mian Xian we had that afternoon. Ahaha… When we were done eating, we saw a longggggg row of people still waiting to be seated. Geez. :D And here're pics of the Strawberry Vanilla Ice Cream and the little dumplings we tried! Too bad we didn't take the Ramen's pics.. T.T There're too many ppl, paiseh la. XDD

Hmm… And then we done some shopping. XDDD I tried some pretty nice stuff, but some were too expensive and some were too mature. In the end I bought a white sleeveless top.

Tired, I need to sleep. Tomorrow will not be a holiday for us, we will go to the conservatory and have a whole day of practice. So good night!

2 English Classes.

Lol. I should be attending College Year 1 English class in the conservatory, but geez, it's really easy, like form 4 level, so my roommate and I tried the Year 2 English class... Hmm.. This one is like form 5 level, still easy for us, but it was really funny listening to the students reading the passages. ^^ Their accent was really funny and they emphasize too much... Like MANAGED, they pronounced it as MEINEIJID. XDD and like BASIC, they pronounced it as BASIKE. The emphasize was so strong that my roommate and I kept on giggling through the lesson. ^^

Besides, the students themselves are really funny and cute! There was a really tomboyish girl who read really loudly. Teacher called her name and asked her to read the passage with started with the word SHOT UP. She immediately read loudly, "SHUT UP!!!" Lol! Everyone roared with laughter, and the teacher said, "Waaa.. you dare to ask me to shut up?" XDDDD Anyway, the teacher herself was a humorous one. ^^

After the Year 2 English class, we joined the Year 1 class in the afternoon since we had nothing else to do. We like Year 1 class because we have some new friends there. ^^ They are pianists, and they are really friendly! So we sat with them and share their books. ^^ It's interesting to listen to every single one of them reading! There is only like 1 student who can read really good in the class. The rest all really funny! ^^

Hmmm... That's it! Tomorrow I'll go to People's Square with my roommate to meet my relatives. They'll bring us to the Shanghai DA JU YUAN to watch a concert. :DDD I'm sooo looking forward to it! Till then~~
