MUST CLICK.

:) Boyi's a wonderful designer, an artist, and best of all, she's my little sis in Shanghai.
Alright, actually she's considered my aunt, but man she's so young (just 20 plus) so I prefer to call her sis. LOL.
She designed a new website lately, and there're lots of goodies inside!
She drew them ALL by herself, and you just gotta love it. :DD
Boyi creates the site just to share with us her new designed cartoon with the name: Rabbit 13 or 13 兔.
She'll design more interesting stuff about it like little calendar and post it there so you guys can use it in your sites or blogs as well!
Don't hesitate to click:

And here are some cute emoticons I saved from her site. Seriously adorable. So go view it and grab now! ^^

ENJOY~ ^^

Pain and Time.

I have to practise more.
I have to practise more.
I have to practise more.

Hypnotising myself.
Yea, I should practise more than 8 hours a day, and stupid me, I just got up to 6 hours. I hate it. :(

My hand felt all sore and my fingers were painful, anyway I felt happy that way. :) I wanna practise non-stop.
They can practise up to 12 hours a day, with 3-hours sleep. I hope I can be like them.

Smile..
I'd fell sick starting from yesterday. :( Fever and sore throat, thanks to the weather and lack of sleep.

I have to get my intonation as exact as possible, bow coordination... EVERYTHING. X.X
Ate medicine just now. Body all sore due to an intensive dancing class yesterday. Lol. Spanish dance and ballet mixed.

The teacher demanded us to be as flexible as possible and he pressed us down to the floor while we were stretching our legs apart. Lol, you should hear those guys screaming, "Teacher!!!!! Please don't!!!!!!" They wailed loudly while the teacher pressed their body hard towards the floor. Omg, that was what you called VIOLENCE. Lol.

And we went out for a great dinner at Lai Fu Restaurant. It was a beautiful place and I loved the food. Yudi's going to Bei Jing for orchestra performance tomorrow morning so yea, he asked us out for dinner. ^^

That's all. Gonna go practise. see ya.

Mail Across the Sea.

:) Got my darl's mail yesterday, that was my best surprise of the day! :))))
It was great to see her usual scribblings again, every twist of her handwriting I swear I can still remember them very well. ^ ^
And thanks for that hard copy dear! I'll keep it well.
Hmm... guess I'll have to search for a nice photo frame soon. ^^ Btw, it took 10 days to get here!

*wink* I'll reply you ASAP. Wait till I get some nice letter pads. Haha.. XD

Have Fun learning China-ish Chinese!

^^ So today I wanna share with you guys some Chinese words that we haven't learn before, yet the people are using it widely in China.

1. 牛逼 (Niu Bi) means really good in certain things.
ex: 你拉琴好牛逼哦! (you're so good in playing violin.)

2. 贼吧 (Zei Ba) means Extremely. It is pretty vulgar though, guys use it and girls better don't.
ex: 他贼吧坏!(He's extremely bad!)

3. 我操 (Wo Cao) means... er... WAHAHAHAHA.. it means.. fcuk. They use it frequently when they're scolding someone.

I'll update if I know more! ^^ Enjoy~

Food and Mood.

Usually I'll choose to eat something good when I'm moody. Lol.
Or rather, Jiun Hui prefered it that way, so she dragged me off to eat at a famous restaurant yesterday.
I don't really know how to translate the name of it, but I took a pic of the tissue packet, so don't worry. :)
The restaurant was full house that day, and we were lucky to get a place. It was famous for the soups. :DDDD
Hot and tasty soups!
Here were the food we ordered. ^^

And here's the name of the restaurant if you're curious. :D

Jiun Hui and me~

And later that night, we went to karaoke with Yudi and Hai Peng. We should have gone there later, so it would be cheaper. X.X
It was the first time I went to a karaoke. Lol. I know it sounds funny but it's true.
And it was fun!!! We sang whole-heartedly and I was glad to find that I actually could sing a lot of songs!

XDDD I sang Poker Face by Lady-Gaga as well. It just sounded sooooo not me. XDDDD
We stayed until 2am. X.X

So long for a moody day. XD

Goosebumps-rising Concert

Thanks to Yudi, Jiun Hui and I got 2 tickets to watch the concert. It was held in Shanghai Grand Theatre and organized by the conservatory! :)))
The performers are mostly from the conservatory, including the professors there and also the students.
Btw, Shanghai Grand Theatre looked fabulous at night. ^^

The concert was simply fabulous. I felt like crying. It was all so beautiful.
The Liszt's Concerto No.1 for piano and orchestra in E flat played by Sun Yingdi was so completely godlike.

It's insanity. X.X
The first half consisted of sopranos and altos. Yang Guang sang Mon coeur s'ouvre a ta voix from Samson et Dalila by Saint-Saens!
Dear buddies from MPYO, remember that piece? :DDDD *wink*

The second half was Dmitri Shostakovich's Symphony No.5 in D minor, Op.47.
It was performed by the Orchestra of Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
So yea, Yudi and his colleagues performed in it, and they were AWESOME.

I reminisced about the good old times I had in MPYO and watching them playing I recalled James and Dylan playing the cello, and lots more others! :)))
Guys, I can still remember all of you! ^^ Really miss you all! Hope you guys are having a great time and all the best in all the performances. Don't bully dear Audrey! Lol!
Hmm... And we took some pics in the Grand Theatre, since it was so beautiful inside. LOL.

Haha.. and here's a pic Yudi edited for me. He is really good at editing photo. Lol.

:) Really enjoyed the concert!

Doll & Blog ♥

Dormitory Havoc

I never thought that things like these would happen.
It all happened after Tamami went back to Japan. So there was an empty place to be filled up.
Undra, the Mongolian woman moved into the room beside ours.
We didn't intend to be mean, but we did enjoyed our privacy and freedom and kinda upset about it.
We couldn't laugh that loud and I couldn't practise my violin late at night. :(
That wasn't much though, since we already accepted it.
The real thing began this early morning, when another hostel mate told Jiun Hui that she wanted to move out of her room, because her roommate eaves-dropped on her conversations when she was talking on the phone.
She caught her red-handed when she opened the door after the call and saw her roommate pressing her ear on the door.
So yea, she was outraged, and she felt that she had no more privacy.
I think it sure is something to think about. I mean the respect we should share between the roommates.
We have to respect each other's privacy, no prying into each other's life unless he/she's willing to tell you.
That is how you can have a peaceful life in the dormitory, learn how to tolerate others and make yourself tolerable for the others as well. :)
Lol. Btw, I have to go practise now. Won't be onlining much. See ya~

Birthday Celebration of Ou Yang Yu ♥

Ou Yang Yu (欧阳予) is a Chinese girl from Hu Nan who we just known 2 days ago. She's only 16 years old this year and she's planning to take the exam next year as well.
Jiun Hui and her met at the tuition class and she followed Jiun Hui back to our hostel to take a look at our room. :D
That was just 2 days ago. And we got to know that her birthday was around the corner so we asked her out on her birthday for a brief celebration.

Btw we brought Yudi(俞笛) along. Yudi's also our new friend. He's a really great violin player and currently studying the fourth grade in the conservatory. When I say he's a really great player, I mean it. X.X He's REALLY good at playing violin. Geez. We brought him along because Ou Yang Yu wanted to meet him, as they shared the same teacher, you see. Lol.

So yeap, Yudi led us to The Onion Restaurant (洋葱餐厅). ^^ Here were the yummy food we had!

And this was the Ice Cream I ordered! Nice right? :)

Credits for Yudi for taking the pics for us. Hehe... Here were some picture of the night. Enjoy~

Here was our happy Ou Yang Yu! ^^
Happy Birthday Ou Yang Yu! :))

My new sobriquet ♥

I have a new nickname! Thanks to my shanghai's friends. Lol.
They call me Princess Xixi, uhm.. in Chinese actually: 希希公主.

They tell me that there's a princess named 茜茜公主 in the history, so they think it really suits me. And they think I look like a princess. =.=''' I was like, aiyar... you guys blind ady or what? Lol.

Some of them even think I'm a mix-blood. And when I ask them what sort of mix-blood, they can't tell too. They just say I don't look entirely Chinese, like a bit Japanese that sort. :D Funny.

Today's my first time going to my teacher's house for violin tuition. ^^
His house situates just nearby the conservatory so I walk there.
:) And wow, his house is really nice. Very tidy and completely well-organized, with a touch of yellow light. ^^

Teacher is as patient and funny as ever. His eyes can be really big if he wants to make it, and his facial expression can't cease to make me laugh. It is especially funny when he imitates the expression of the piece, so as to let me understand better how to play it. LOL. :))) Love the lessons!!!

Once In a.... Month. :)

So whenever we need to have a delicate and well-embellished Fruit Delight Ice-cream, we'll have it if our fav leader is around!

There're 2 leaders in Citta Cafe. One is angelic, and another one, to my utmost disappointment, is totally devilish. :(

We love the angelic leader. He's always smiling and serves us himself as if we are 2 happy kids. :D Even when we online until the shop is going to close, he'll just say, "Take your time, no rush." And when he serves us, he'll raise up the plates and say, "So... whose dish is this?" with a twinkle in his eye. ^^

As for the devilish leader. He dislikes us onlining too long there. He'll give us his diabolical stare and scowls all the time. Anyway, we are his customers so he won't make it too obvious. We can still see that he'll get really gleeful whenever there's an internet problem in the cafe. He enjoys watching us staring at the "Internet Cannot Be Displayed", and sardonically says, "Well, you can try restarting your lappy, if it's still like that, I'm sorry I can't help."

And the sweet angelic leader will always rush to our rescue and fix the line as best as he can.

:D Since I got line in my room, so I don't need to go Citta so often.
Anyway, I will still go there once in a month for Fruit Delight! ^^ Wheeyyy~

Translator. :)

Aha~ So I can blog myself now. ^^ Great thing.
No need to be a troublesome geek who always bother dear Yingz. Hehe..

Here's a pic taken in the conservatory's concert hall yesterday evening.
Hai Peng invited us over there as he would be performing with his orchestra members.
They were the Chinese traditional orchestra and they did a pretty good job. ^^
The soloists were really cool too! :)

Sorry for the bad quality photo, it's just like a water-colour painting, thanks to my 2.0 mega pixels phone camera. :DDD

Today I went to watch a masterclass where one of my friends, Yudi was performing.
It was a masterclass given by Sergiu Luca. ^^
There was already a translator there, but it was a France-speaking translator.
And seemed like Sergiu prefered to speak English so he asked whether anyone knows English there.
I raised up my hand 15 seconds after seeing nobody reacted. XD

So yeap, I became the translator of the session. It was pretty fun actually.
And Sergiu was really humorous! ^^
There was a 10-year-old kid who played pretty good though his playing was pretty rough.
Sergiu asked me to translate for him dat people go to a concert to hear beautiful music, not to watch a boxing competition. And that he was playing just like a boxer, a very good boxer indeed! LOL.

Hmm... I'm onlining in Citta Cafe now. XD After like a week?? Since my room got that internet service, there wasn't a pretext for me to come to Citta again. Lol.

Just once in a month I guess. ^^ Still forgivable right? :D

Part-time Pianist.

I'm still learning piano now even though I'm majoring in violin. :)
There're quite a lot of friends of mine in the piano department, and they're generous enough to give me tips on how to play better on and off.
So thanks peeps! ^^

I'm enjoying it! ^^

Paradoxical.

It's freezing outside, but I can still survive wearing my black Mango top in the room.
Coz even if I switch on the air-cond, the room is still warmer than outside! X.X
