Went to a wedding gig with Martin yesterday, was excited to find out that the venue of the gig was right inside Jin Mao Tower! The 2nd highest building in Shanghai! =)
Some pictures of Jin Mao Tower. It was 420.5m tall with 88 floors. Just like KLCC, it contains shopping malls, offices and hotel! Which the hotel is Hyatt. =)
Here’s the tallest skyscraper in Shanghai (Shanghai World Financial Center which is 492 m tall with 101 floors) and Jin Mao Tower. Btw the Oriental Pearl Tower is the 3rd highest building in Shanghai.
More pictures! =)
Got there early and they were having wedding rehearsals! Martin took a picture of me with the mesmerizing wedding place as the backdrop.
When another violinist, Tang Yun arrived, we immediately prepared to play! =) LOL. We played for like 1 hour at the entrance coz the bride and the bridegroom had to take pictures there with all the invited guests (which must be more than 1000 ppl), they just kept flowing in. O.O
Finally all of them went into the dining place to watch the wedding ceremony and we got some loose time to take pictures!
L to R: Me, Tang Yun and Martin. =)) Trio.
This was the place where the bride and bridegroom took pics with the guests. Hah! Btw I accidentally kicked one of the spotlights and burnt my hand in the process of picking it up. OUCH. x.x Anyway guess it’ll heal pretty soon since I got a pretty awesome cream from my bf last time. =D
Change to another place with yellow lighting! ^^
Haha.. I was always requested to bend down when I take pictures with friends. HAH. XDDD
Martin was taller than me so finally I could stand straight! LOL!
Decided to have a silly shot after all those uptight ones.
I will look like a sulky child if I don’t smile. LOL. Ahhh roses!
Faking to sign at the signboard. Hehhh! I like the feathery rosey pen! =D
A very cute corner with adorable stufftoys and the newly-weds pics!
And I absolutely love this corridor. The serving tables with the desserts and different photos of the newly-weds on them! =))
We had fun! And 3 of us ended up having Malaysian dinner at Fusion Restaurant (AGAIN! For me. LOL!). I love bringing ppl to try out Malaysian cuisine and both of them love it! =DD
Guess that’s all! I gonna say goodbye to you guys and continue practising! Ciao!
