Since the Twilight Series appeared in bookstores worldwide and even onto movie screens, the vampires topic becomes so HOT that you can just find it everywhere.
On Youtube, where ppl makes parody of it.
Or just simply everywhere, Twilight fans for example.
I love Twilight Series as well, and of coz vampires are what that have attracted me to watch this supernatural-fantasy horror television series: The Vampire Diaries.
It's really new. I got to know it from the papers in February.
Well, typical love story a bit like Bella and Edward but actually different, coz this time, there'll be 2 brothers fighting over the same girl.
I can see in the comments in PPStream that ppl simply compared it with Twilight movies.
It's fine to compare but they actually abuse either Bella or Elena by stating who's ugly and who's a bad actress just because they fancy another one.
Come on, just enjoy the show and stop posting nasty comments dudes.
Of coz, we need hot actors and actresses to lure us into watching it. And this series has it all.

So let's make long story short, both the Salvatore brothers have been in love with a girl, Katherine, 145 years ago, and turns out the girl's actually a vampire and changes them both into vampires as well, so they can accompany her forever.
However something happened and she died.
Then after 145 years, here comes a girl who looks EXACTLY identical to Katherine.
Her name's Elena Gilbert, a high schooler whom both parents are killed in an accident.
She finds herself falling in love with the handsome Stefan and yet at the same time she realises that Stefan hides a lot of things from her.
And she gonna dig them out.
Damon who hates his brother, comes back to ruin his relationship with Elena.
Part of him is actually still in love with Katherine and now Elena reminds him so much of her.

Well, I'm really interested to read the novels after I read about it in wikipedia.
