Hey babies. :)

Went to the master class at 9am today.
Gee, I just slept for 3 hours yesterday. And the weirdest thing was I didn't feel exhausted at all. I guess my body already starts to adjust to this weird life-clock of mine. :D

The masterclass today was given by a professor from Juliard. I'll check out his name tomorrow and update here. I was totally rushing there this morning coz my friend asked me to help his senior (who was the translator today) in translating just in case she had any problem with it.

I really liked what the professor taught us. The first question that he directed to us will always be, "Tell me what do you think about this piece/concerto/sonata. What is it about?" And when we shook our heads, he would joyfully continued, "Boys and girls. The story here is...... the upbeat/syncopation/etc!"

He could entertain us and teach us a lot at the same time. :)
I especially love the way he relates music to languages. According to him, there were only 4 kinds of bowing: Legato, detache, spiccato and Martele! :D
Legato and detache are the vowels, and spiccato and Martele are the consonants! Music is about how you manipulate these vowels and consonants into a great speech! :D

And of course the most important thing is, what is the orchestra doing when you're playing the sonata/concerto/etc.
A lot of ppl just didn't pay attention to the accompaniment, but their own parts. So when the professor asked them, they could do nothing but shook their heads.
The accompaniment actually defines what is the mood of the music that the composer wants at certain parts. :D
We were fascinated when he showed it to us by asking the pianist to play her part.
We had been so ignorant after all!

Haha.. The translating was fun today. I secretly hope that the translator today wouldn't be upset. Though Xing Xing said she looked a bit unhappy. I didn't mean to take over her place as the translator, but she didn't translate a lot of things and the audience were all confused and blurred so I stepped out to help. :S
I actually disagreed with a woman who sat right opposite me. Evidently she had good command of English, but she didn't help when the translator made mistakes. That was still okay. The worst thing was she smirked behind the translator. I really disliked that.
A guy came to ask me to go for his masterclass the day after tomorrow to translate for him. And I have to translate for my friend tomorrow for his masterclass too! It will be another professor from Germany. Haha... I love translating!

Had spaghetti with Xing Xing at Saizeriya. :) Learned some Russian from her today.
Let me recall. :D

Radapasnakomitze, Miniazavut Wen Xi. (Nice to meet you, I'm Wen Xi.)
Gaagte. (How are you?)
Harasho Spasibe. (I'm fine, tq.)

Lol.. I don't know if I get the spelling right. At least that was what I heard. :DD
Russian was fun!
Borrowed Xing Xing's shades and took this pic. :) She said I looked nice in it. Maybe I'll go get one soon. LOL.

Gonna go practise now! Ciao!

Music Camp at SMP Park! :D

I really have to thank Wan Lu for the great opportunity to go to this music camp at SMP Park! :D I'll type the Chinese name here so you guys can know what exactly I mean: 东方风云榜。季选音乐营。

Wan Lu called me yesterday night and asked me if I wanted to go for this really exciting event held in SMP Park. She got a ticket online and it said she could bring along 2 person with her, so she thought of me and miki! So sweet of her! :DDD

How could we miss the chance? ^_^ So the next morning, we went together and...... of course pictures!!
At the subway station! Credits to a lady for taking the pics for us! ^^

SMP Park was really faraway from where we lived. It was like 16 stations away from our hostel. We got there around 1 hour later and took the free bus ride to SMP Park!
Taken in the bus!

There was already a long queue waiting to enter. Took this when we were lining up. :) The weather was really good that day. Very very sunny.

We were given balloons, a blue thing to wear around the wrist and laser fingers for concert. :)

Wan Lu and the balloon~ :DDD

The DJs! I guess you guys should have heard it via FM988 in Malaysia too? :D The guy in the middle is Jia Yi, the Malaysian DJ from FM988! ^^

Owh yea, I didn't mention yet, SMP Park is actually a Skateboard Park! :D YAY SO COOL!

There were 2 artists who helped ppl to paint on their bodies! I thought it was pretty interesting so gave it a try! It was not like everyday you have this chance! :D She painted the part below my neck coz it was pretty bare there without necklace. ^^

DONE! :D It was really special! I wonder if you can see a face with a hat? :D

There was another cute lil kid trying it out too! :D He was sooo sooo sooo cute!

Wan Lu decided to get her hand painted! :DDD

Picture with the artist! Thanks!

Miki's turn! She had her face and neck painted! Teehee!!!

Here's another artist/painter! Cool face and hair huh!

Cool painting on the face! ^^

Snapped some pics of the cool guys we saw there before heading for the concert.

Huge stage!

There were already lots of ppl waiting there. And geez it was so super hot that time! The sun was too hot and intense!

The paint used was oil-based, so it wouldn't dry at all. I needed to be really careful not to touch it, but still my cardigan and my hair messed it up. LOL. Took this pic before washing it away! ^^ Really love it though, coz it was the first time I tried body painting!

The concert finally started! However I didn't know all the artists that performed that day. This girl was pretty famous. She's 许飞 from 超级女声. Does that ring a bell? :D

And here's 牛奶咖啡!I really like the girl's voice, so very very sweet. And I love the songs they sang! Click to listen! 越长大越孤单 or 没时间

I especially love 没时间 coz it was really catchy and cute! :D Strongly recommend you guys to listen to it. :)

There were a lot of booths selling very special stuff there too! Mostly some new artists who had their newly-designed characters and little gifts that they sold online. So the things sold there that day wasn't really available around in the shops! All limited edition produced by the artists! YAY! :D Miki and I bought a lot! :DDDDD

The weather got colder by evening. I bought a yellow throw-over from one of the booths. I know it doesn't really match with my dress, but no choice, I prefer ugliness to catching a cold. XDDDD So here goes. :)

We went back around 5pm. There wasn't much ppl in the subway so we took pictures there too~ :D This is one of the lil things I bought from the booths. A clip or hairpin! It could be used both ways. :) Clipped it on my bag on the spot. :)

Took a picture of it before tearing if off. ^^

And... tadaa! The souvenir I bought for my friends!!! SHITS for them! LOL!!!!!!!!!!

Pink for Ai Ai.
Red for Xing Xing.

Blue for Tar.
Yellow for Paulina.
Purple for Kat.
And Green for Jiun Hui! :DDD

Family picture! :DDDDDD The cutest shits ever!

Behind the scene. :D Snapped by Miki! :D

So tiny! :D

And HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DEAR ELLEN!!!! It was her birthday yesterday! I'm really sorry dear coz didn't celebrate her birthday with her. :'(
I wasn't feeling well after coming back from the event and had to practise violin for the violin class the next day so couldn't make it. :'(

Anyway she had a great birthday!!!
Stole this pic from Miki's camera! ^^

L to R: Hirai, Lawrence, Miki, Ellen, Sweden-guy-I-dunno-his-name. And that's Yurina and Ai at the back. :)
