Fire Lecture. :)

All the international students staying in the dormitory were asked to gather at the groud floor this afternoon for a lecture on the important safety measures needed to be taken during a fire.

There were some officers from the safety department of our conservatory coming over to demonstrate. :)
Together with them were some fire extinguishers and the fire mattresses. These were to be added up in our rooms afterwards.

I found the steps extremely useful so I took pictures to share with you guys as well! ^^

The man in white shirt is the leader of the safety department. He showed us how to use the fire extinguisher correctly. The one he used to demonstrate has carbon dioxide in it btw. There are a lot of different types of extinguishers so check before you use.
So here is the right way:
You need to pull out the metal key-shaped thing, and focus the extinguisher on the fire... and press the handle! :D

Reminder: DO NOT SAVE THE GAS. PRESS IT HARD AND DON'T RELEASE UNTIL THERE ISN'T ANY GAS LEFT.

The officer asked for volunteers and Hirai was the first. XD Everyone applauded after he made a successful demonstration. Lol!

Xing Xing was the 2nd volunteer! :DDD She did a great job! ^^ Btw the extinguisher gave out such noise I had to close my ears with my palms. =.='''

The next one! The fire mattress! It isn't flammable, so it's very useful to cover yourself during escape. You can cover up the fire source too, either to extinguish it, or if the fire is too big, at least it can delay the spreading of the fire while you have time to run and get the fire extinguisher!

It is this big after you spread it out. :)

You can cover yourself up like this. Note that you have to cover your head as well, or else your hair will be all on fire even if you manage to escape! LOL!

Besides, it will be better if you cover your face with a wet towel to prevent getting burnt.

He showed us how to cover up the fire, but REMEMBER better don't try to press down on the fire using your own hands just in case you get burnt. You can use your shoes to stamp on it or if the fire is too big, go get a fire extinguisher instead. :D

And here's the rope! OMG SCARY.. T.T These ropes are prepared for the students staying at the 3rd floor or above, just in case the front gate was blocked by fire, we'll have to escape through the window. O.o!!!

Tie an end of the rope to any big thing such as bed pillar, post or anything heavier than yourself la. LOL.
Then tie yourself using the other end of the rope. Tadaa~ Slowly lower yourself down afterwards.

I must say this step is pretty scary. x.x

The very lively officer. Haha.

I was asked to demonstrate for the fire mattress and tried out the fire extinguisher too. XDD The officer kept on calling me out to demonstrate. T.T He thought that I was a Japanese. XD Lol. Do I look like one?

Anyway I really enjoyed the lecture, and I learnt a lot! I hope you guys feel the same too! :)

Had a sumptuous dinner at a Hong Kong restaurant! Credits to Kate and Paulina for bringing us there! A major find. Perfecto! :D

The food I ordered: BBQ pork rice! :D
You know the most ridiculous thing? The waitress actually told us not to take pictures of the food. What is that? I mean, come on, we pay for it, and we gonna eat it down. Plus there is no recipe written on the food, what's wrong with taking pictures of them? Duh~

Lol.. Everyone felt indignant and ignored her. Teehee! Anyway I was too busy eating so just got this picture laaaaa. :) Will take more next time! Lalala~~~

:D Renovate renovate renovate! :D

Yeappie!

Omg I love my piano-accompanying teacher! :DDD
She's like the nicest teacher ever!
I got a packet 3 in 1 Hai Peng coffee for her today and we ended up chatting for an hour before going for lunch together at school canteen. ^^
She treats me like I'm her own daughter and listens to every craps I say. T.T 感动~~
I love her! ^^

Tried out the violet cons I bought yesterday. ^^ It makes me look sorta dolly, don't you think? The colour isn't that obvious coz it's a very dark violet, but the pattern is Scottish! :D Just if you notice. ^^

With the bow hairclip I bought at a very cute lil shop weeks ago with Miki! :D

Muka hyper I. :D

Tidier brow and dolly eyes! Aha! Makes me look more like a kid. Apa ni. XDD I'm the Expression Girl. Lalala! ^^

Holidays coming!!!! ^^ Planning a huge renovation for my room together with Miki! :DDD Can't wait! :DDDDD

Rainy Day + Browy Day.

On a date with Xing Zhu for the whole morning until afternoon. :)
She brought me to Parkson and I experienced the super painful eyebrow shaping at Benefit's Browbar using the beeswax. XD
But I like the end result though. Much more tidier! Aha!

Then we went next to the spec city, or that's what Xing Zhu called it, coz there were hundreds of shops selling specs at the same area. O.o
She wanted to buy some contact lens and also add the lens for her spec frame.

I ended up buying contact lenses too! :D Super cheap and pretty! ^^

On the way back at the lrt station. Outside was raining cats and dogs. Super tired!

Dropped onto my bed when I got home and went to sleep immediately. XD So very exhausted. :)

Crazy Girls Back In Action.

Say hi to Xing Zhu! ^^ My China besties a.k.a the Expression Queen. Teehee.
I love her thick fringe! Look super cute on her.

My camera tak boleh tahan her cuteness. hahaha~ went blur. XD

Sayang her~ :DDDD

She insisted to stay behind me coz she said her face's too big. LOL.

Very short post eh~ :D My posts will be mainly this way from now on. Teehee.
I'll only write long posts when I have free time. ^^
