First Attempt ♥

I dunno how to cook, I just know how to make omelette, cook maggi and fry eggs, does that count? :DDD

Jiun Hui got a rice cooker, and Mandy & her had been cooking during the winter holidays since they were staying in Shanghai to cope with the exam.
I think it's pretty cool, cooking using a rice cooker. :D We can do a lot of things with the rice cooker, but I do want to buy a decent induction stove so I can cook whatever I want, and I can get a thick recipe book and start to learn how to cook!!!

haha.. I'm dreaming to be Julia Child right now. Geez.

Okay wake up wake up, here's the reality. And let's see what we have for today.
So this is our first attempt at cooking. :D
Us as in Jiun Hui & I. not Jiun Hui & Mandy. Haha. XD

We went to the market in the morning to get the ingredients we wanted.
What I like about the market here is that it's NOT SMELLY, even when you can see those bloody fish and chickens that is so EWW, but still...... NOT SMELLY!!!
And they kept the place really clean.

I love the vege department most.
They're competing with one another you see, they arrange the stuff as neatly as possible and everything is fresh, neat and awfully clean.
If anything is slightly mussy, the customers will walk away. It's the first impression thingy.

We got some pre-cooked chicken, coz we're not pro enough to cook that yet. XD
And just in case we messed up, we would still have something decent to eat. Lol.
Eggs, fishballs and a Chinese Cabbage were bought to cook soup with. XD

We spent like 2 hours to cook everything, feeling exhausted and hungry and Jiun Hui probably felt lucky for didn't get lacerated when she worked with the knife on the Cabbage. lol.
We definitely needed more practice.

It tasted appetizing enough, and we didn't get food poisoning afterwards.
So it's a SUCCESSFUL first try! ^^

I couldn't walk after I finished the lunch today. Too full! XD
Hmm.. I wonder what will we try out next time.
Btw I didn't have my dinner today. :(
Now feeling kinda hungry.
