My Nin Chor Sam – Yuyuan Garden during CNY!

Got a text from Ellen when I woke up this morning. She decided to go to Yuyuan Garden for a walk this evening coz she heard it was pretty well-decorated and very festive over there! =DD

After staying in the room for 2 days, I was really going to get insane. So I definitely said YES! =DDD

Nono Ai and Sebastian joined us as well! We met up at the subway station and walked to Yuyuan Garden together. Beautiful scenery on the way!

Bunny lanterns! =D

The one and only picture of us taken by Sebastian. And it’s blurred. T.T It was too crowded there so we didn’t really have the chance to take any group pictures. We were too busy trying not to bump into other ppl and taking care of our belongings! XD

More pictures! It was already evening and the sky is turning darker. Yuyuan Garden is always beautiful at night! Though we were already on our way out when it got dark. =((

More daylight pictures.

We saw this gate-like thingy which was awfully crowded and just realised there was something to watch there! =DD

It was a bridge with lots of awesome decos.

There were lots of beautiful statues of the Chinese god and goddess in the middle of the lake. My camera sucks big time during evening so I only choose one that is decent enough to put.

At first we wanted to try out this restaurant coz it was really famous, but after looking at the long queue at the door, we decided not to wait. x.x

Then Sebastian and Nono Ai said they wanted to eat Malaysian food! Haha.. They already ate it once last time but since they were planning to come to Malaysia next year, they said it was better for them to get used to Malaysian food! LOL! =DDDD

So we went to Fusion restaurant!

Curry chicken is a must! =DDD

Since we ordered a lot of spicy food, it was better to have something lighter. So here’s the Beansprouts with salted fish! yummy~

Penang Char Kuey Teow yayyy! Haha.. Like super long time didn’t eat this. The weird thing is there isn’t any Si Ham in it. X.X Not authentic already.

Bat Kut Teh that doesn’t really taste like Bat Kut Teh. =.= Hmm.. Anyway we didn’t order it, it was given FOC coz we spent more than RMB 120.

Nono Ai and Sebastian were having a really hard time eating Malaysian food. Especially Sebastian, he drank a whole jug of iced water! LOL! Nono Ai was better at eating spicy food. XDD

We were so full after eating all the dishes above and couldn’t walk at all! So we ended up chatting about Malaysia and Sweden. Haha.. Sebastian is a Swedish you see. The topics we chatted about were so funny!! Nono Ai and Sebastian asked us about the dangerous animals in Malaysia and seemed like everything they were afraid of was in Malaysia! Like crocodiles, furry spiders, snakes. HAHA.

Owh yea, there was something I really want to share with you guys. I almost laughed to death when I heard about it. It was a story of young Sebastian and an elk. =D

Just in case you dunno what is an elk. Here’s a picture.

Sebastian told us that the dangerous animals in Sweden were wolves and bears. Though usually they won’t attack humans unless you provoke them or disturb their sleep (especially bears during winter lol).

And then he told us a really hilarious story about him and an elk which ate the apples in his garden.

He was just a kid that time and came back from school. When he got back to his house he saw an elk in his garden, chewing on the apple. And that elk apparently ate a lot of apples, and here was the funny part. The apples got fermented in its tummy and turned into something like apple wine and THAT ELK GOT DRUNK!!!

Super wth right? LOLL. But it’s true. So this drunken elk got mad and all intoxicated when it saw little Sebastian. It ran towards him with high speed aiming him with its killer antlers!! OMG!

All of us were so worried when we got to this part and kept on asking him what happened next.

Well, luckily his mom was there and immediately pulled him inside the house. He said that elk loved to eat apple too much and usually sneaked into ppl’s gardens. It became dangerous when it got DRUNK after eating the apples (LOL!!!!), so in the end somebody shot it dead. =((( I don’t really like the ending. I feel sad for the elk which had so much passion for apples. =’(((

We left around 10pm something! =) It was a really happy evening and I was glad to hear about all the stories! ^.^

haha.. Flashed pics again! Just can’t get used to a post without my own pictures. =.= Call me narcissist.
