I fell in ♥ with the kids. It's totally u.n.c.o.n.t.r.o.l.l.a.b.l.e.
1st Case:
The BM class was ending. My mum told the class that we were leaving, and the next teacher would come and teach them English.
Wei Xuan [the big-eyed little girl with chubby cheeks and Japanese Doll hairstyle] gestured for me. I walked up to her seat and asked her, "Yes, wat can I do for u?"
She looked up at me with her sparkling round eyes, and spoke to me in a business-like manner.
"Jie Jie, I don't like new teachers. I like you and Cikgu. Can we just have you and Cikgu?"
I felt like hugging her on the spot because she looked so serious and tried to act like a big girl, too cute! :)
2nd Case:
Same thing today. The Mathematics class was going to end. [My mum teaches BM and Math.]
My mum went off to the second class. She ordered me to stay until the next teacher came.
Before she was gone, Wei Xuan asked her cautiously, "So will Xi Jie Jie stay?"
My mum just flashed her a smile and trodded off.
Suddenly, another little girl cried.
She was Xi Yen, a dainty pretty little girl with 2 silky black plaits decorating her cheeks.
I was pretty shocked, for she was a really sweet girl who smiled often.
I quickly got up to her and asked her why.
She kept sobbing but the others answered for her.
"Jun Kit bullied her!"
"NO, I DIDN'T!"
"Okay, fine fine! You all sit down and be quiet! I'll come to you all in a couple of minutes!!" I ordered.
I took Xi Yen out to the washroom to wash her face.
Her eyes were red and swollen.
She hiccuped and sobbed.
I squatted down and asked her gently, "Xi Yen, tell Jie Jie wat happened okay?"
I heard this faint answer, "Jie.. Jie.. I.. don't.. want.. u.. to... leave... I.. don't.. want... the other... teacher... I... want.. u ... to... stay...."
I couldn't help smiling. XD
So I told her that crying would make her look older and she might look uglier after that.
That was enough to quieten her. =)
I ♥ my job. ^^ I guess I'll be a great ELDER sister or even a great mom! ^^
