Sin Yue's Birthday Bash. :D
I don't think I gonna wait for CY's pics.
I have to write down the WHOLE EVENT before I miss out any interesting part.
It was the first time I tried to organize any birthday party for anyone.
Usually it was Kah Win or Sin Yue herself.
They were AMAZING at organizing stuff. They could always make it successful and fun!
So I was kinda stressed about the surprise party, just in case it went wrong. :'(
CY and I went to get the tiramisu cake around 8pm.
Our hearts were palpitating and our palms were sweating.
We quickly drove to Steven's and sat in the car, planning what to do.
I took the cake in and asked the Steven's boss whether he could help to keep it in a fridge.
Tiramisu cake would melt, you see. Haha.
He said yea, and asked a waiter to take the cake upstairs into the kitchen.
I kept my violin in CY's car and we got upstairs to wait for the others.
Soon Pei Jiang and Kwek arrived.
I quickly banded them to join the surprise "conspiracy". XD
Pei Jiang would be the one who distract Sin Yue while we go get the cake and violin.
On the other hand, Kwek would be the one who open the door for us.
I kinda worried whether they would do a good job as they just nodded their heads like dat. :/
We heard some bike's rumbling downstairs outside and looked down through the sliding windows.
I saw Wei Xiong down there, with a couple of guys I wasn't sure who they were as I only saw the top of their heads. Lol.
Suddenly, I remembered I didn't tell anyone that we gonna celebrate it upstairs!
So I opened the sliding window and yelled down, "Hey, come up here!"
All the heads turned up to look at me.
OMG, I didn't even know WHO THEY WERE!
I quickly jumped backwards and hid somewhere possible.
PJ, Kwek and CY were all laughing like wtf. :'(
Luckily they didn't really come upstairs.
SO DAMN EMBARRASING! Haha.
Okay, soon others arrived and ordered watever they wanted to eat.
We got Sin Yue a GOOD SEAT. :D The one which didn't face the transparent entrance door.
She had her back towards the door so we could do watever we wanted to without drawing her attention to it!
It was 9.45pm. CY and I made a secret gesture to carry out our plan - to go get the cake and violin on the pretext of going to the washrooms.
We told Sin Yue that we wanna go pee and she stood up immediately and said, "Okay! I wanna go too! Let's go together!"
I could see PJ and Kwek looked helpless, so I gave them a "Please Wait Patiently" sign.
After we got back from the washrooms, CY came up to me and asked for her hp, which she kept in my handbag.
She mumbled under her breath, "What should we do?"
I suddenly got an idea and exclaimed, "Hey, where's ur hp? Geez, don't tell me u left it in the car!"
We tried hard not to laugh and put on an anxious face.
"Yue, we gonna get CY's hp. It's in the car"
"Okay!"
I flashed PJ and Kwek a winning grin and winked. ;P
Soon I got the violin and we rushed upstairs.
CY checked whether the coast was clear and apparently PJ was doing a great job chatting with SY, distracting her. :D
We ran to the kitchen back there and breathed heavily.
Just as we were taking out the cake, Kwek appeared from nowhere and joined us.
He told us he hid inside the washroom until we came. OMG. Silly him! XD
We poked all the candles onto the cake and lighted them.
Too bad the card we made for Sin Yue can't stand on the cake. It was too heavy although we tried our best. So we put it down and asked Kwek to hold it for us.
When everything was set, we walked slowly towards the entrance.
Yue knew nothing about it as it was SO NOISY inside.
Everyone was playing their own role in distracting her! :D
Kwek opened the door and I started to play the "Happy Birthday" song.
I saw Yue jumped out of her skin and others started to cheer and made lots of funny noises. Haha!!!
I played the song again as CY came in and everyone sang the song as I played it. ^^
Very nice!!
Yue looked touched. Eheheheh.. Looked like we succeeded!
Thanks to EVERYONE who made that possible! XDDDD
We ate the cake and chatted.
Jia Wei, Han Sian and Eu Ann asked me about the way to play the violin.
They were funny when they played with it! ^^ They got many weird ideas. XD
After that, they asked me to play something.
So I played Gypsy air.
While I was playing, an uncle came in.
He was like, stunned and stood there watching me.
I stared back at him while I was still playing.
After 10 seconds of staring, I stopped and said, "Er, is there anything we can do for you?"
He said nothing, still staring, and then walked in. Lol.
Then he walked towards the bartender, glancing back now and then.
I guess violin is still scarce in Kemaman, that's why ppl think it's really special. XD
The party ended around 11.30pm.
Okay, so now I will wait for CY pics! ^^
