15/12/2010 Shanghai Turns White! (The Night Post)

 

Jeremy suggested everyone to go for a photoshoot in Xin Tian Di and everyone was totally excited about it! :D

 

All of us gathered at the stairway around 7.30pm! Everyone wore as much as we could coz it was TOTALLY FREEZING OUT THERE!

 

 

 

 

In the subway! XD We occupied 2 rows of the seat! Teehee!!

 

 

 

 

 

Impressive present deco in Xin Tian Di! You can always look forward to the X’mas deco there, you’ll always be amazed!!! :DDD I wish I can get that much presents! XDDDD

 

 

 

 

And omg there was a merry-go-round too!!! We wanted to take a ride on that, and was told that we needed a receipt (any receipt, just spend your money in Xin Tian Di and get the receipt) for a ride. :D

 

 

 

So we started finding a place to spend our money on! Btw the shopkeepers there were all creative! They built their own snowmen/SNOWPIG in front of their shops! This Snowpig was found outside Godiva Chocolate. :DDDD

 

 

 

The pirate snowman which was 2-sided! There was another face at the back too!

 

 

 

And this cute seal-like snowman! :DDDD with an apron on!

 

 

 

In the end we decided to have ice cream at Cold Stone, my favourite ice cream shop ever!!! Better than Haagen Daz I think! :DDDDD I chose Strawberry flavour with Strawberry, banana, marshmallow and smashed waffle inside! It was simply heavenly!

Finally, with the receipt, all of us went on a happy ride on the merry-go-round!!! It was like winding back to my childhood! :)

After throwing snow balls at each other. I picked up a leaf which just blown down from the tree! :D

 

 

 

 

Jiun Hui, Miki and I went back early while the others went straight to Oscar’s Pub for pool and drinks! ^_^ I just wanted to get home coz I couldn’t feel my nose and feet already! Too cold!!!

15/12/2010 Snow In Shanghai. (In The Day)

I have never expect the snow to be this heavy!!

Last year, it snowed so little and the snow melted the moment they touched the ground!

So as I promised, pictures of the snow!!! Have to separate into 2 posts coz it gonna be too long if I combine Day and Night posts together! :D

Here goes! This is how snow looked like! I hope I can put them under a microscope and see those amazing patterns but once I touched them, they melted. :’(

Doodled this myself. HAHAHA! Hopefully the driver didn’t catch me doing this to his/her car! Btw on my way back from my violin class, I saw lots of scrabbles on other vehicles left by some other cheeky ppl like me! Everyone on the street was smiling and taking pictures too! It was a really rare sight for them too! It’s hard to see Shanghai in white!

Yayyy! I can make snowball and throw at ppl! :DDD

It's Snowing!!!

Omg I'm soooo happy!!!! I can have a white Christmas after all!!! :D It is such a rare sight, coz it seldom snow in Shanghai!!! :DDDDDDD
