Went to a gig 2 days ago without the faintest idea where we would be heading. All I knew was there would be cars escorting us there, so I showed up on time, got onto a Buick with 3 other quartet players and dozed off in the car.
I woke up sometimes to find the driver talking to someone using a walkie-talkie. He looked just like a bodyguard or something, wearing coat and all, and using the car’s GPRS system to locate the destination. I was too tired and sleepy as I stayed up too late a night ago, so I ended up sleeping soundly during the rest of the journey.
After like 1 hour, I opened my eyes and was astounded by an amazing sight. I held my breath while the car slidded passed this.
A very castle-like building with plants growing over it.
The moment we stepped down from the car, we started snapping. =)
That was just the entrance. Wait till you get inside.
After putting all our stuff in a specific room, I roamed around after changing into my gown.
I spotted this huge door that seemed to lead to a completely new world outside. I decided to explore. =)
When I opened the door, a gush of fresh air greeted me right in the face. It was just like the sea breeze back in my hometown, but this time, it lacked a salty flavour, but added a flowery scent. =) It smelt… GREEN.
And GREEN filled my sight.
Found a cute er..i-dunno-wat-it’s-called in the corner of the lawn! Jumpy bed? Haha! I WANNA PLAYYYY! XD
Slipped back into the room downstairs for a picture in the boxing room! Haha.. Is it called a boxing room?
Another element that made the air so fresh is the water!!! There were swimming pools and oso a lake out there!!!
The place where we were going to perform was She Shan Country Club. And these beautiful buildings surrounding it were all villas!
I love mini doors like this. =)
Performed first!
I sneaked out after the gig to take more pictures! This was back-view of the Country Club we were in!
Super love this wooden swing-bench thingy. =))
Have to self-snap la coz my friends still inside. XDD Nobody can help me take pictures. T.T
Look at the scene behind me! Isn’t it just like fairyland???
The lake!
Strolled back to the entrance! The whole view of the entrance! My very first picture didn’t do it justice. This picture was much better! Really WOW right?
Credits to Shen Yan for the pics!
These are the times when I think bad cameras also can capture amazing pictures. =) Coz the place itself is already magical enough!
Shen Yan and I found a little hidden path led to another villa! =DDD
We saw some kids running around and eventually disappearing through the woods, then we got curious and turned around the corner. There was the hidden pathway!
The residents can have afternoon tea in this little hut and they can always take the engine boat to the opposite golf lawn for some golf! =D
It seems like the whole place is covered in leaves. =)))
This is the only building that I found slightly closer to urban style of this century.
Yet the door is just like ancient time’s!!! =DDD
A bridge leading to the gold lawn!
Alright back to the entrance again, I must take a picture with this breathtaking scene! XD Look at the sunlight!
Karen! Our quartet leader. She had a solo performance using electric violin too. =))
Helped her to take some pictures outside after the performance ended!
Posed with her electric violin!
Credits to a boss for this picture. He just volunteered to help us take, and assured us his photography skill was flawless. XD Lol. He even directed us how to pose. Whuahahaa, just like in photostudio la.
With one of the workers. This pic was taken by the boss as well. LOL. He asked the guy to stand a staircase higher coz I was too tall! Hahahhaa!
Got back inside for some desserts!! YUMMY!!!
Ps: My dad webcammed with me yesterday and told me he loved this She Shan Country Club so much!!! =DDD I knew he would love it, coz he often tell me he wanna make our own home crawled with leaves too, just he didn’t know how! Hahaha!!!
I love my cute daddy! =DDDD
