Ear Training and The Aliens.

Today I missed my ear training class coz my violin class clashed with it. Btw, today is Happy Teacher's Day in China. ^^ I saw lots of ppl sending flowers to their teachers. My violin teacher got lots of calls and sms as well! XDDD I wished him Happy Teacher's Day too. :DDD

Since I missed my ear training class, I was just about to go back to hostel after lunch when my roommate from the piano department asked me whether I want to join her ear training class in the afternoon. Well, that was a great idea! I did want to see how it was. So I followed.

Hmm... I have to say, the students from her department weren't that friendly compared to the violin department's. They didn't even talk to us and just acted as if we were not there. I heard my roommate said, last time during her theory class or something, teacher ordered the class rep to buy books for everybody, he didn't even count my roommate in. :((( So very very rude.

The ear training teacher, in fact, looked very nice. She invited us to join them and asked us to see whether we could keep up with their class. So the class started. Geezzzz... the teacher who looked nice just now turned into a tigress when she found out the girl who sat at the front row forgot to bring her notepad. She jotted down her name and warned her better not to forget again, or else she'll reduce her mark. Marks were the most important thing for the students there you see... X.X Scary...

They were all Aliens!!!! Lol... Actually I am just trying to say they are really well-trained in ear training. The teacher played a series of chords, and asked them to write them down on the manuscript. She just repeated the row of chords twice, then they already done writing. O.o and their sight-singing were great too! XDDDD

Haih... Have to work doubly hard. No... triply. XD Well, first thing I have to study the theory first, it's so confusing since it's totally in Chinese. I was like... wat??? when they discussed the theory in Chinese. It's not dat I dun understand Chinese. The problem is those musical terms. XDDDD Weird. Anyway, it shouldn't be too much a problem. The funny thing is the composers' names. Like Stravinsky, translated into Chinese become Si-Te-La-Wei-Si-Ji. Zzzzz... OMG... XDD

I'll update more about my school life! Till now~~~
