Avatar & The Little Prince. :)

Avatar was awesome. :)
I went to watch the 3D Avatar today with my friend and it managed to be heart-wrenching again.
Why I said again was because I watched it a few weeks ago on Xun Lei. :D
The difference was I could really indulged in the beauty of Pandora this time and understand better the whole story line and the Pandora language as well.
Thanks to the perfect subtitle and no more obstacle like internet lagging. XD

Now lets move on to why I connect The Little Prince with Avatar.
First thing first, I think it's good for all of us to at least read through The Little Prince.
It is super short and easy to read anyway.
The only thing is you need to think about the philosophy hidden in it.
I got the book from Tar a few days ago, and I love it.
I used to have a Chinese version of it complete with the beautiful illustrations but screwed it, coz I was just about 12 dat time and I didn't really know how to understand it, I just read it as it was and got completely blur with why the author ended up writing something like that.
The book can be pretty puzzling, you see. :)

Remember in the Avatar, the armies destroyed the trees and forest coz what their boss saw was not the beauty of the forest but the treasure that worth billions underneath them.
And they didn't even try to understand the Amaticayan by naming them the Blue Monkeys or Savages.

Just like what the Little Prince said after he encountered so many different sorta adults on various planets.
"Grown-ups are very strange."
"Grown-ups are really very odd."
"Grown-ups really are very, very odd."
"Grown-ups are certainly absolutely extraordinary."

Why does he say so? Coz grown-ups have no imagination, and they do whatever they think is right, without even wondering why they're doing it.
They just do it because EVERYONE is doing it.

So for those aults or adult-wannabes out there, you can continue be one. :D
Be satisfied with ur wealth, ur pretty reputation, ur jewelleries or branded clothes collection.
Though sorry to say, if you are not young at heart, you'll never know the true happiness.
