Heyyy guys!!! I didn’t update for almost a week! Too tooo tooooo hectic lately. I need to focus on my coming exam and at the same time had an absolutely wonderful time celebrating x’mas and my 19th birthday!!!
Will tell you guys more about my birthday later. :) Now let me finish my pending post about my X’mas eve! :)))))
I got an exam rehearsal in the morning of x’mas eve, and then rushed to Class no. 602 to help the teacher with the decorations of the place! :)))
Pictures!!
Xing Xing, Paulina, a Japanese friend and I decorated this x’mas tree! Nice? :)))))) Xing Xing directed us coz she was familiar with this! She used to decorate it in her country! :))))
And then we arranged the snacks on the table! :) Funny arrangements! XD
There were some extra bling-bling stuff so Kathy and Xing Xing decided to make a “X-MAS” on the wall with them! :)
It was kinda heavy so the tape couldn’t hold it well. The words kept falling down and I had to go to fix it all the time. LOL.
A not-very-tall x’mas tree! XD
Credits to Xing Xing for the pictures!
LOL. She wanted me to pose like this. XDDD
Here’s Xing Xing & Xing Xing (Star)! XDDDD
Just in case you are wondering where these balloons come from…..
We blew them one by one!!!
Resting after helping here and there. :) Btw, this pretty girl on the left is Alice! She’s borned in Canada and currently living in Shanghai. :)
Chat chat chat and walked around.
Around 2.30pm, activities started!! :))) First one was the “Who’s The Chopstick King/Queen”! We had to use the chopsticks to get the marbles into another glass! =.=’’’
First round. Hoang, me and Pin Jin.
Hoish… damn gan cheong lo. Everyone kept yelling here and there. XDDD My hands kept shaking.
Come on come on! Still got a few!!
Ishhhh.. In the end Pin Jin won! Look at his Dak Cek yeong. LOL.
Next game was the Stepping-Balloon game! Everyone had to tie 2 balloons onto one leg, and you had to protect your balloons and at the same time try to burst those on others’ legs. The one who still has 2 balloons left in the end would be the winner!
So many ppl play this! T.T So scary man! We kept chasing here and there and screamed until our stomachs cramped. LOL. Super super tiring game!!! Everyone got a gift in the end! :)))))
There was lucky-draw too! I wasn’t lucky at all and didn’t get any lucky presents. :’(
However I was totally astonished when Teacher Wong from our hostel, who got the grand prize (a 8gb pendrive) announced that he wanted to give the pendrive to me instead!
He explained that he was really touched last time that I volunteered to help the woman who fainted at the hostel gate and ran to get a cab to send her to the hospital. He said the ppl nowadays were really selfish and didn’t care about others, and he was really happy that I was kind and caring enough to help the woman.
I blushed like mad when he told everyone about that. >.< Coz I really didn’t think that was a big deal at all! Everyone will do the same right? It wasn’t like I did anything heroic or something…
Anyway, thank you teacher!!! :))) Me and my paiseh face.
Coming up next!!! The X’mas carol performance by “Hostel Group”! LOL. Coz we usually rehearsed in the hostel room! XDD Very lame name. XD We sang Silent Night! :)
And of course there was a present-exchange session!!! I got this cute pink seashell candle! :DD
Group picture before we left for x’mas dinner at Grape Restaurant!!! :DDDD
The dinner was sooo sooo sumptuous! I must say the x’mas celebration held by the school this year was soooo much better than last year! Probably coz the head of the international teachers changed to a new one! Teehee! *shhhhhh*
Got another x’mas gift from Kathy and Paulina when we got home!! :) Miki and I got these painting sets and we immediately tried it out! :))))
Here’s mine!
And then Xing Xing dropped in to give us x’mas present too!!! A super cute reindeer with a lighted tummy! :D TQ darling!!!
After like 1 hour of painting. :))) Finally. Miki’s painting!! I really love it!!! :))))
And here’s mine! XDD
A snapshot of the x’mas presents I got that day! :)))))))))))
Most posts to come!
