Vietnam Cuisine + Mc D + Snow. =)

 

A mixed update.

 

Had a satisfying lunch at Pho-real, the super amazing Vietnam restaurant! Ohhh yummy!

I think I blogged about it ages ago, sort-of.

Anyway here’s the latest update anyway! =DDD

And here’s the tastiest Spring Roll on earth I swear! Very costly too. =.=’’’ Need to save money to eat it once a month. DUH.

Theeeee mosttttt famoussssss beef noodle of Pho-real! Very special taste, not something you can eat anywhere! I’m still trying to figure out how they can make such taste. Hmm.

I think this is a different day. I forgot. Anyway, Mc D was the choice for lunch, they have half price for lunch set until 2pm!

Anyway Spring is coming thank god!

 

Owh yea and this was the first snow we got in Shanghai. And I was lucky to be in Xin Tian Di that time to catch it!

Fancy having snow on a sunny afternoon. Amazing!

Lapis Skygarden and Lapis Lazuli. =)

 

2 almost identical names of restaurants! I bet they are under the same company. LOL.

Again, found the Skygarden info online. Listed as a restaurant with pretty awesome view, situated at the 7th floor.

Too bad it was under renovation by the time I got there, but the workers there were kind enough to let me take pictures there. =)

And then the next stop, Lapis Lazuli, another pretty restaurant which served great afternoon tea.

The atmosphere there was so serene it was great to take a book there and read while you sip your tea. =)

 

 

 

 

 

The best dessert set ever! Everything is so YUM.

1984 Bookstore.

A long-overdued post. Some time around early Feb I guess. LOL.

Stumbled upon “The Most Artistic Bookstore in Shanghai” (They said online) while I was searching for interesting places to go, so I jotted down the address and went on a little adventure. =))

 

The bookstore was so small you will not even notice it. There were no fancy huge signs outside or anything. It’s just like a small dainty little house with black door LOCKED up and a little doorbell on the side. =)

I pressed on it, it made a buzzing sound. I wouldn’t try that if I didn’t see someone inside. It felt like I was an intruder.

Within seconds, someone came out and invited me in. And after crossing a small little tunnel I was bewildered by the sight inside.

There were already a dozen of ppl inside. Sitting on the seats provided and sipped on their drinks while serenely reading books. I realised it was actually a cafe + bookstore.

Everyone was so quiet as if “Not Talking” was an unspoken rule there.=)

After exploring everything, I went outside and strolled around the neighbourhood. Saw this cool furniture shop with special doorknob! =)))

 

 

 

 

 

Walked pass a florist and decided to get some flowers. =))

 

 

 

 

 

 

Stopped by Family Mart for some snacks and this little puppy seemed lost. LOL.

 

 

 

 

Got back to my room and started snapping with my bunny! HELLOOOO LITTLE FATTY. XD

 

 

 

It has such bulging tummy. Btw I think it really looks like the rabbit in Alice In The Wonderland movie, except for the black eyes and the brown colour part on its head. Right? =)))

 

 

 

 

It loves my bed. Keeps hopping up and down. LOL.

 

Busy life! =)

Ulcers are real pain in the ass.

 

Had 4 ulcers simultaneously in my mouth last month, 2 on each side. How wonderful.

I couldn’t assault my food like I usually do, and I took twice longer to finish my meal. Such a bummer.=S

 

Anyway nothing can stop me from having yummy food even at the lowest/saddest/dreariest/horriblest (if this word exist) day.

 

Abbey Road’s Lemon Chicken is a MUST-EAT. =DD Nomnomnom. Despite the price is slightly higher – RMB 75 but the serving is generous enough so yea. =)))

 

I’m still able to pose with 4 ulcers in my mouth. LOL.
