Biggy Heart!

 

Slept early yesterday and woke up early today for violin class!! :) Feeling refreshed and energized.

Had an apple for breakfast! XDDD Sound really healthy right? XD I’m like addicted to fruits lately. Apples/Grapes everyday. XD

Teehee! The L’OCITANNE products are really effective! My skin already looked better this morning! The pores were smaller compared to the day before! :) Yeayyyy baby skin! :))))

L’OCCITANE En Provence. ♥

Promised the sister 2 days ago to attend a gig today, so had to forced myself to go to that super far place even though I was feeling really sick.

Feeling extremely fatique after the gig and stopped by Raffle’s Mall to buy some face cleanser/toner/serum from TheFaceShop. My collection was finishing.

A woman stopped me at the subway and requested me to be a model for her beauty class. She said she was a beauty consultant from MaryKay and gave me a namecard. This was like the 2nd time I encountered this in the subway. XD Last time that one said she was from Amway. I didn’t really believe them though. I mean like I’m not that pretty laaaa. Why find me to be a model.. Bleh. XD

Went to TheFaceShop and was astonished to be told that only serum was left! Others were all sold out! :’(

I was soooo not going to go back to hostel empty-handed. It was just too tiring coming out again! So I went upstairs to look for some other brand. In the end, decided to try this! :)

Bought the Brightening Cleansing Foam and Essential Water Face (which is toner la) bleh. XDD They costed me quite a fortune. At first I wanted to buy the serum as well, but heck, it was RMB 990 for a little box of serum! Like superrrrr mini-sized whehhh.. So I gave it up. XDD

 

 

 

 

In the end, went back to TheFaceShop and got the serum! XDDDD

 

 

Tried out the products once I got home! Sooooo refreshing! :) Thumbs up!!! The serum is especially essential during winter, coz the dry cold weather can be pretty awful to the skin sometimes.

Maybe will try some other brands next time and will tell you guys how is it! :)

MSAS X’mas Party! :)

Attended 2 parties on 18th December 2010! Supposed to blog about the one in the day first, but the pics are still not complete, so have to wait for a few days more!

I’ll update about the evening party first! ^_^

It was organised by MSAS – Malaysia Students Association in Shanghai! :) Believe it or not, this association was already there for 8 years or so, and we didn’t know anything it about it until Jiun Hui met Gradys from another university who sat right beside her on the plane to Shanghai this September! LOL!

Dear Gradys then told Jiun Hui about this association and lo and behold, here we are, at the x’mas party! :))) Thanksssss darling Gradys!!

The party was held in Coffee Bean! :) It was soooo awfully crowded coz there were like almost 50 above ppl inside already? O.o Here we are, the bunch from the conservatory of music! We were reserved a quiet place in the corner. All of us still feeling pretty foreign to the place, which explained our stiff looks in this pic.

We were introduced to new friends! Yeay!!! :) It was surprising to find so many Malaysians in Shanghai!!! WHEEEEEE!!!! So nice to hear Malaysian Slang Chinese again! XDDDDD We were waiting for our drinks and food at the bar. :)

Then the santa came in collecting funds from us! XD Everyone who wanted to donate the funds had to put the money into his clothes. And the price for you to put the money into his… ehem.. underwear, is RMB200 at least! XD I wasn’t so sure if anyone actually paid that. XDDDD

And the santa was reallyyyyy funny! He kept on posing for pictures! Just look at the pictures below! XDDDD His poses when we donated the fund!

Then we went out taking pictures! It was boring sitting in the corner!

Here’s Jowin!! I’m not so sure about the spelling though. :) Love her lots! She was really bubbly and I got chirpy as well after chatting with her! ^_^

The best part of the evening was the lucky-draw session!!! Sebastian (the one on the left of the pic), the president of MSAS, would take a name out of the box and see who’s the lucky one!! Jiun Hui got a box of handmade biscuit from Coffee Bean! :)))))) Wheeeee~ She was the lucky star of our conservatory of the night!

OMG the grand prize of the night!!! A giant teddy bear!!!! ME WANT! T.T This guy got the bear and gave it to the girl he admired! XD So romantic! ^_^

Got this lovely scarf from the present-exchange session in the previous x’mas party! It was from Uniqlo! :) Really soft and warm!!!! I wore it immediately to MSAS party! :)

Here’s Matt! He’s from England and he speaks perfect Chinese! Btw, he acted in Harry Potter 3!! Just a small part, he said, he just popped out and said something, that’s all. You guys can try to search him out! XDD He’s very friendly! ^_^

I got a very cute present from the present-exchanging session! Didn’t take picture of it, whoops! XD It was a cup with a bone-shaped handle! XD
