I had a war with the dust!!

My mum and I had a spring cleaning today!!!!! We started from my room. XDDDD
We swept, we mopped, we arranged.
We done everything.
My room was sparkling clean!!!!!!!

You have to see the dust. OMG! So many of them!!!!
They are everywhere!!!! Luckily we managed to get rid of every single bit of the dust after spending around an hour and a half sweeping and mopping. :)))

My cupboard was stuffed with papers and letters from my penpals.
It's time to clean them up!
My mum ordered me.
Okay...
I mumbled and pulled out a drawer consisting of ALL MY LETTERS. Haha.
They are all sweet memories I had with my local and foreign penpals, my closest friends and my cousins!!!

Since I was 5 or 6, I already started to write snail mails to my same-age-cousin, Kar Leng.
We stuffed nice things in the letters like stickers, bookmarks and souvenirs.
I even stuffed keychains, flowers, bracelets inside too!!! I guess the postman would be wondering why the envelopes were so full. XDDD

And when I was 9 or 10, I started having penpals around Malaysia. ^^
I got nice stuff from them too who lived in different states.
Once I got a wheat from a penpal living in Sekinchan. :) She was nice to give me that coz I never seen a real wheat before. Hehe.

Foreign penpals. Well, I got them when I was around Form 2??
Guess so. The very first one was Okaasan! Thanks to Zi Ying.
Kumiko Hattori was Zi Ying's adopted mum last time she went to Japan.
I got the address from Zi Ying and started snail mailing Okaasan.
All the things she sent was really nice and neat!!
I fell more for Japanese culture after knowing her! ^^

And then I got to know more foreign friends through a Japanese site and we passed snail mails too!!!
They came from New Zealand, Germany, Finland, Estonia, USA and Romania!
I got lots of very very cute and awesome stuff from them!
I really appreciate every single one of my penpals. :) Thanks for giving me all the sweet memories!!!!

The whole drawer full of letters. XD

This was the longest letter I had received. It consisted of 11 pages!!!! :)

Thanks Chai Yun for making dis card for me!! She's soooo good at handycrafts!!! ^^ I JUST LOVE DIS!

Her handwriting was really neat too! :)

This cute and thoughtful card was made by my lovely cousins: Kar Yan and Kar Leng!!!

They were so sweet. I LOVE THEM WITH ALL MY HEART.

These pics were stuffed inside an envelope. I bought them when I was 12, in my primary school, when there was an exhibition about the galaxies and universe. I missed dat time.

Next up, thanks to my creative penpal, Joey from Selangor who loved to design lovely envelopes! :DD

I got dis book out of another drawer. It was MY DEEPEST MEMORY! I used to drool over dogs like crazy for years when I was younger. Now I still love dogs, but maybe not dat fanatic anymore. XD See I made the whole book about dogs myself!!!! I can't even believe I made it when I flipped through it today.
Em... Kinda childish cover. :) It was made in year 2002.
I searched for news and informations about dogs, cut them out nicely and paste them in. I was like, "Wowww... Was I that patient???" I will always keep the book properly. ^^ It will always be my deepest memory.

I absolutely love this letter pad sent by Okaasan. It looked like a morning glory when it was closed.
This was how it looked like when it was not folded!!! SO NICE!!!

Sob. My mum burnt all the letters. We have to clean up the room coz I might not be in Kemaman next year. I still kept some of the foreign letters when consisted of their culture. It was too special I couldn't help keeping them! :)

It was a day of hard work. And it paid off well. ^^
