Love story. ♥

I was a fanatic dog lover.
And I was a kid.

It was year 2001, I was around 10 that time.
I glanced over to my neighbour's house, holding the fence that divided our houses apart.

There were 2 fluffy black lumps rolling on the floor, the size of a huge fat cat, playing with my neighbours.

I stood there, engrossed in the scene until my neighbour(I called her "sis") noticed me.

"Hey, little girl." She said, "Wanna come over and take a look?"

I nodded frantically and ran out to get to her house. :)

"This is Fiffy, the elder sister, and here's the younger baby, Vivid." She introduced.

They looked pretty shy, and I ran my fingers through their fur, they looked so adorable and small like pretty furballs.

"So what breed are they?"

"They're mixed. Golden retriever mixed with Chow Chow, so they're black in colour and super fluffy."

So that's how my bro and I got to know the two little devils. My neighbours gave us their gate key and let us took care of them when they were away, coz they actually stayed in Kuantan, and they had a company branch over here so they bought the house.

So we compromised.
My bro took care of Fiffy, and me Vivid.
Fiffy was more vibrant, and had a longer face. She was fluffier and bigger in size.
Vivid was the shy one, she had a super baby face, (hiak hiak just like me) and smaller.

They grew up so fast and soon they were just as big as any normal golden retriever.
I was dragged like a ragdoll when I got them out for a walk. They were too happy to have a walk since most of the time they were just chained up.
And the worst time was when they saw those stray cats, and my bro and I would suffer.

"YAAAAAAAA, STOP STOP STOP!! VIVID STOPPP!"
"FIFFY YOU PIG STOP RUNNING!"

My bro and I would be yelling and being dragged at the same time. So in the end we sorta gave up and tied them onto a tree instead. Lol.

Bad news came in year 2003 somewhere in January.
Our neighbours decided to move Fiffy and Vivid to Kuantan coz they wanted to take care of them themselves.
Good news for them, bad news for us.

It was a sunny afternoon, and the Pajero came, with 2 big boxes at the backseat. The dogs were pulled out, drooling madly under the sun, with their pink tongues out as usual, staring at us and then at the car, smiling broadly.

I wanted to tell them, "Do you guys know we will not see each other again?"

They smiled back at me with their tongues out.

My neighbours sorta got them into the boxes by lifting them up. And "bang", the door was shut.
The dogs started pacing madly in the boxes, looking out of the window.

Pajero started, reversed out into the junction, and sped away.
My bro and I waved goodbye, and we never saw them again.

I remembered I cried for a few days.

We had some photoshooting sessions with Fiffy and Vivid a week before they were sent away.

This is Fiffy, the elder sister.
Lol. I made her the fake manicure. XD
This is when vanity strikes. ^^

And this is baby Vivid, asking for food.
She always came to me, with the yellow bowl of hers in her mouth, trying to tell me GIMME FOOD RIGHT NOW I'M HUNGRY. :)

Fiffy and her famous goofy grin.
I love you too baby.

The camera-shy Vivid.
I love you too. :'(

I met my neighbours last week.
I waved and then sis's husband greeted me.
I asked him how Fiffy and Vivid doing.
He told me they passed away like a year ago coz they were both very old. :'((

I hadn't tell my bro about it. He'll be really sad.
He really really loved them.

So this is a post for the first 2 dogs in our lives. Thanks for giving us the joy and love.

Rest In Peace My Dears... :')
