Vietnamese Cuisine + Kong Sifu + Rehearsal

A full record of my Friday. :D
It was so eventful!!

Lunch at a Vietnamese Restaurant with Tar & Jiun Hui. :)
I loved the deco on the ceiling.
It was a super popular eatery obviously, coz ppl were willing to wait for a long time for the seats.

We each had a lunch set.
Beef HoFan with Spring roll! :DD
Heavenly delicious. T.T

Snap this pic with Jiun Hui coz I had already finished my food long time ago. XD
Jiun Hui the slow eater!!! Wahahahahhaa!!!

=.=''''
Tar's laughing at my chubby cheeks. HMPH!
See how he imitated me.

Lol. Yea I have chubby cheeks so what??
Cute wat. XDDDD

An exaggerated version of my chubby cheeks. XD

Afternoon Tea @ Dinner at Kong Sifu's with Xing Zhu.

Xing Zhu Honey called me and asked me out to eat something.
She told me about her problems and we laughed and chatted while having spicy noodles! :D

Her super spicy Beef Noodle.

Mine's the Devil's Noodle.
Cool name!

See there were 4 different ingredients arranged tidily on it.

Haha.. stupid pose inspired by Xing Zhu. XD
Trying to show my enthusiasm to eat the noodle. =.=

Rehearsal in the evening.

Antonio, the Mexican musician sent us a car to fetch us to his hotel for rehearsal. :)
I was there as the translator.
Here were my friends who would be playing for the concert! XD

They borrowed my camera and started snapping like crazy at the backseats. XD

Aiyo, Kevin had a bad self-capture skill evidently. :D

So in the end they asked for my help to take the pics of them. Huhu~~

From L to R:
Wang Ying (Yang Qin player), Kevin (cellist), Jacqueline (Pipa Player), Deng Ken (violinist)

Since the driver was someone from the expo, he got a HaiBao stufftoy in his car!
Lol.
And the poor thing was tortured and forced to take pictures with them. XD

The rehearsal was really interesting and successful.
This was the very first time I listened to something like this. WOW.
Totally amazing...
It opened our views!
It was a combination of the modern electronic music + classical + chinese traditional, with improvisations on our own and the effect it produced was just breath-taking.

Antonio was really a genius. O.o He wrote it, you see. :D

When we were rehearsing, there was this guy working in the hotel suddenly barged into the meeting room we used for rehearsal, and said bluntly, "Watta you doing? Watta you doing?"

We were stunned for a moment, and I told him we were rehearsing and that he could check with the reception area about this.

He did apologised afterward. He said he thought something happened inside coz he heard disco music. LOL.

The rehearsal finished around 10.30pm.
We waited for Daniel, the driver just now to fetch us.
He had something to do in the Expo so he was a lil bit late.
We waited at the reception area.
I was chatting with Antonio, and they started to snap pics with my camera again. XDD

Ahaha.. Kevin acting like a girl~

Jac & Wang Ying. :)

Lol. I didn't get any pics in the hotel coz I was busy translating, arranging things and talking to Antonio about the rehearsal.
It was very satisfying, however.
Coz my friends were all happy with my translate and they were glad I was there! :DDD
See what Kevin posted in his China Facebook's Diary. XD

:DDD Funny Kevin. He called me "Miss Manager" for the team. XDD
It was fun and exciting!!
I'm waiting for the next rehearsal on Sunday!!
