Hang Zhou Trip (Part 1)

Went Hang Zhou with Miki 2 days ago!

Woke up around 4.30am to get ready and departed for the train station around 5.30am!

The narrow alleyway behind our hostel. =) Quite a cool effect right? Blurred in the middle but not on the sides! I seriously didn’t know how it could become like this! XDD

We reached around 8.37am! Too sleepy for words! Didn’t dare to fall asleep on the way because we were worried that we might miss our station! LOL!

Grabbed 2 mochas from Starbucks to keep ourselves awake and also this yummy Strawberry yogurt!

Our first destination is the famous Xi Hu! (西湖)A must-go place in Hang Zhou!! =DDDDDD

We were excited to find boats there!! Hmm. Very comfy boats with padded seats and a boatman rowing the boat for us!

Had our lunch at Zhi Wei Guan (知味观), a very famous restaurant nearby Xi Hu. =))) We decided to try out the well-known local cuisine!

I gues you guys should know this right? Dong Po Rou! 东坡肉~~ Just a very small piece but I think it’s WAYYY enough coz it’s soooo fat. =.= Anyway the taste is great. =))

虾爆鳝背~ Fried Eel with shrimps. Really hearts this one! =D  The sauce is sweet btw. We could only try out 2 dishes coz we were too full! XD

We went back to Xi Hu again after lunch.

And…… we spotted SELF-ROWING boats!!! Only RMB 15 PER PERSON OMG!!! We were like T___________T when we saw these coz the previous boat with the boatman costed us RMB 160.

Super T____________________________T Right!!!

Boat-rowing was definitely an energy-consuming-fat-burning-muscle-training exercise. LOL. We rowed so hard and it only moved a little. Anywayyyyy, we got better and better when we discovered how to manipulate the direction the boat heading and stuff! =DDDD

I’m totally confident that I can row a boat myself next time when I see one! =DDDD *Burst with pride*

It was noon that time. The sun was soooo bright!!

Feeling all drained up after rowing the boat for 2 and a half hours. Yes, we took freaking 2 and a half hours to get back to the shore!!!!!!!! It was definitely not an easy task! And the funniest thing we discovered there was a lot of ppl got mad and threw their tempers on the boat, looking sulky and gloomy coz it seemed like no matter how hard they row, they could never get back to the shore! LOL!!!!

It was like they paid to have fun, but in the end turning up sulky! XDDD

More beautiful sceneries! Spring is in the air, I can smell it! =DD

It was already almost 3pm and we had to catch the train around 7.30pm, so we gonna rush to another destination! =D Stopped by this Tea House to try out the super famous Xi Hu Long Jing. (西湖龙井)

All the teas there were really expensive, but we decided to have a try, since it was like sooo super famous. A glass was RMB 60. =.=’’’

Me checking the pics in my camera. =D

This little glass of tea costed me freaking RMB60. =.= For me, it tasted just like normal tea, no difference at all. SWT. Anyway, it was still a good memory! At least we tried it out once! =) Better than nothing right? XD
